Research Use Only (RUO) Policy

1. Intended Use

All products sold by AAMINO are supplied strictly for laboratory and in-vitro research purposes. They are not drugs, biologics, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or foods, and are not manufactured or tested to any pharmaceutical, clinical, or consumer-grade standard.

Products must be handled exclusively by qualified professionals — researchers, laboratory technicians, or institutional staff — within a controlled laboratory environment equipped to handle research chemicals safely.

2. Prohibited Uses

Compounds purchased from AAMINO may not, under any circumstance, be:

• Administered to or consumed by a human or animal, in any form or dose.
• Used for diagnostic, therapeutic, prophylactic, or any other clinical purpose.
• Represented, resold, or repackaged as a drug, supplement, or consumer product.
• Used in a manner inconsistent with a controlled laboratory research setting.

AAMINO does not provide, and will not provide, dosing, administration, or usage instructions of any kind. Any documentation, packaging, or correspondence referencing quantities is provided solely to support laboratory record-keeping (e.g., dilution for in-vitro assay work).

3. Buyer Eligibility & Attestation

At checkout, every buyer must affirmatively attest that they are acquiring products solely for qualified laboratory research use and will not use them for human or veterinary consumption. AAMINO reserves the right to request evidence of research affiliation (institutional email, lab address, or equivalent) and to refuse or cancel any order at its sole discretion.

4. Certificates of Analysis

Every batch is independently tested via HPLC/MS prior to sale. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) referencing the specific batch ID is available on request and is typically delivered within 48 hours. COAs describe compound identity and purity only and do not constitute, and should not be interpreted as, clearance for any use beyond laboratory research.

5. No Medical Advice

Nothing on this site, in product listings, or in correspondence with AAMINO constitutes medical advice, and no statement made by AAMINO should be construed as suggesting or endorsing human or veterinary use of any product.

6. Policy Changes

AAMINO may update this policy periodically to reflect regulatory or operational changes. Continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
